Modular kitchen-An obsession or necessity?

Architectures and designers are in great demand in the market of interior designing. And the business is soaring high in Chennai  in recent times. Especially modular kitchen is booming in Indian houses which revolutionized the lives of modern housewives and homemakers.

In a move to hit the booming market for kitchen systems and modular kitchen in India many foreign companies like, German kitchen systems company, Euro 196 million Haecker- Kitchen GmbH & Co. KG (known as Kanu Haecker Kitchens Pvt. Ltd in India) tied-up with a local distributor. Another big company, Johnson Kitchens, the modular kitchen business of H&R Johnson (India), added 25 more retail archives to its available 39 stores in 2012. South India is required to be one of the key locations for its retail extension. About 14 stores were planned to be set up in Tamil Nadu alone, as quoted by Johnson Kitchens President for Emerging Business Sushil Matey himself. Yet another German modular kitchens manufacturer Nobilia announced its venture in Indian market. The company has set up its first elite store in Pune and the second store was recently launched at Besant Nagar in Chennai, according to H and R Johnson (India) Chief Operating Officer Sushil Matey.

A modular kitchen is artistically alluring, fashionable, sleek, versatile, safe, and luxurious and utilizes space well. Modern kitchen interiors are central attention seeker in most of the modern homes. Modular kitchen interior is especially designed for modern housewife; she is not only concerned about the ease and convenience of cooking in harmonically arranged kitchenette but also about the beauty of the kitchen’s surrounding. Always remember, cooking is an art and food good or bad it all depends on the ambiance. The food will come out good if the person cooking is in good temper, bad if it’s vice versa.
